The Cranberry Tales - A Children's Book for Adults, Too

The book is about Peter and Anna Wensleydale, a couple in their early thirties who have given up a professional life in the diplomatic service for a homestead in the woods of Cranberry County, Maine. It is also about two Persian cats, Selene and Pilikia, a huge "mixed breed" dog named Tancredi,a courageous Rhode Island Red rooster named Cantachiaro, a horse, some sheep, and assorted other animals, who not only speak to one another but to Peter and Anna as well. And it is about the customes and peculiarities unique to Downeast Maine. But, most importantly, The Cranberry Tales is about the extraordinary experiences the Wensleydales and their animals share with one another and with their neighbors and friends in Cranberry County, Maine.
