George Washington fell in love with Mount Vernon as a boy and when it came under his stewardship he developed the land with trees, gardens, fences and pastures, added to the original house, and designed and built outbuildings that would add balance as well as utility. These improvements turned Mount Vernon into a showplace.
The beauty of this home is indisputable. It’s a lovely place. But does it have good feng shui? Did it support President Washington in his retirement? Or could the feng shui of this stately mansion have contributed to his death?
