Combining personal experience and inspiration from the Bible, Phone Call in the Rain offers a series of reflections on various themes ranging from love, giving and forgiveness, to faith, courage and pride. Originally published as extended reflections on an electronic discussion group for Christians, the reflections are aimed at enabling Christians to build a meaningful relationship with God by understanding God’s truth and power, and by seeing Jesus as an everlasting redeemer. The author discusses - sometimes in a very outspoken way - issues and social problems of our time that have prevented God’s children from achieving the great favours ordained for them by the Lord.
