Baseball is a game of legends and myths. Red Sox fans suffered the "Curse of the Bambino." In Chicago, a goat's owner laid a hex on the Cubs. Buddy Cullen, a young journalism professor, stumbles upon something far worse than either of these. Something as old as mankind plagues the Cleveland Indians... and everyone else!
