Doomsday Corn

This is a story about modern industrialized agriculture and what it can lead to. Farmers who can not save their own seeds and who spray copious amounts of pesticides are featured. Planting rows closer and closer together, and the ability of weeds to live through poisons sprayed on them (superweeds) is also discussed. Other topics brought up are organic growing, seed-saving, insecteries and farmer's markets.
