George Washington Carver is well-known for his inventions created by peanuts. But, he was much more than just a peanut agricultural scientists. Carver was also the first African American (Black) to become a college student in the state of Iowa. Later, he went on to become the first Black faculty member at the prestigious Tuskegee University.
