Making the Grade

Shannon Lynch is assigned to her first case as a police detective in Albany, NY along with two men who seem to resent her having been promoted. Why? This story takes place before 9/11 and she's the first woman detective in Albany's department. Then her past catches up to her in ways she could never have predicted. Is she tough enough to overcome a killer who is out for revenge as well as handle colleagues who aren't sure she can be trusted? Will Shannon make the grade?
