Lean in Practice

Between executives who want to implement Lean and achieve higher operational performance and on-the-ground managers who want to make concrete improvements and changes, there is often a huge gap. This book tries to close this gap by proposing a 12 steps plan for successful Lean implementation. This plan (the Lean Implementation Framework) draws from the author past experience implementing improvement initiatives and focuses on the practical aspects of Lean. Examples are taken both from manufacturing and from the services industry.
