Rules for a Reason

Scott always enjoyed visiting his grandparents on their dairy farm. They milked lots and lots of cows every morning and afternoon. This visit was going to be different though. His older cousin Charlie was visiting to and he always treated Scott like a baby. In an effort to prove how grown up he was Scott did something stupid and learned a valuable lesson about respecting authority.

I’m a firm believer that God works in the hearts and minds of children just as much as he works in the hearts and minds of adults. And I firmly believe a child can choose to follow Jesus and mean it for the rest of their life. I also believe children are very capable of making this important decision on their own.

We as parents are our children’s primary teachers and we have a responsibility to share Christ with them. Hopefully, this will lead them to accept Jesus as their Savior.

I write my books in the hope that they help children see the greatness in God and that by following him they will truly live a a blessed and wonderful life.
