From the introduction: "The purpose of this course is to introduce the high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle (HMMWV) family of vehicles The scope of the course broadly covers the general characteristics of the HMMWV. These include the basic characteristics of the vehicle, the characteristics and operation of the 6.2 liter diesel engine, drive train and suspension system, the brake/steering system, and the electrical system."
