The End of the Sea

Morgan has only one wish – to save his dying sister. To do that, however, he will be forced to journey across a land on the eve of war and seek out a creature from the sea that can take human form. She is Asherah, one of the most powerful and feared beings of an ancient race called the Nyangua, shunned by her own people and hunted by humans.

With the aid of a witch skilled in the history and arts of the Nyangua, he will come to stand between two armies, bearing witness to the fall of one empire, and the conquest of another. And at the end of everything, he may realize that the cost of saving his sister’s life may well damn them both. For to cure her, he must take the heart of Asherah.
