Set in Chicago in April 1968, nine year old Regina and her ten year old brother Tyrone, find themselves in the midst of the riots; trying to recover from the devastation. They vow to stick together no matter what when everything around them is falling apart. But there are secrets; journeys and adventures that help them later understand their place in this world.
