Welcome to Strategies for Stretching Your Income! I wrote this book to give people the strategies that I have used to save money. The economy in the world today is one that requires us to take a step back and look at how we spend our money. It also forces us to find places that we can cut out in order to make sure we can provide the basics.
I have found through reading many different financial books that none of them give you concrete ways of actually saving money. They may talk about investing differently and cutting out Starbucks but there are many people who do not have the money to invest in the first place. There are also a lot of people who have already cut out their morning coffee and are still looking to find ways to make the money they make go further.
My book is comprised of money saving strategies that I have used in my own personal life. In this book I will cover ways to save money on everything from travel to household utilities to healthcare expenses. I give you the resources I have used and the strategies that actually save you money. You may ask “Why are you telling everyone this information?” The reason I put this book together was because I got frustrated seeing people who are really in need of saving money; reading books that are about saving money that don’t actually tell you how to save money.
This book is different from the rest of them. Unlike many other books, I do not fill the book in with “fluff.” I use the word “fluff” to describe the extra non-sense that other financial writers add to their books to make them seem longer. You will see a bold heading and them a description on how to save money on that heading. I do not add a bunch of “fluff” to make each section seem longer. I get right to the point of, this is how you save money, and then I move on to the next topic. I believe that people who are truly looking to save money will appreciate this writing style.
There are many ways of saving money that people may have heard about or seen before but for some reason forgot about. My hope in writing this book is that everyone who reads it, from the rich to the poor, will find something useful. The strategies in this book have changed my life and I hope that they will do the same for you.
