The Missouri Persecutions

This book on the persecutions endured by members of the Mormon Church in Missouri from 1833 to 1838 was written by Mormon leader B. H. Roberts at the beginning of the 20th century. According to the author, it was written so that the youth of the Latter-Day Saints would have a 'full statement of the persecutions endured by the early members of the Church' and so that 'the faith of the Gospel will become all the more dear to the hearts of their immediate posterity and all the youth of Zion for many generations to come.'
