She was born and breed for a life in the streets. Being the daughter of an infamous drug cartel, the niece of a dealer and the girlfriend of a self proclaimed street hustler, Jaysin Santana had little choice of what her future held.
Baring the burden of the Santana name became the least of her worries when her aunt was incarcerated on erroneous charges. It wasn’t enough that her father had been locked up for most of her life and her estranged mother had found a new best friend in her family’s number one distribution but she also had to worry about a new interest who instantly found her compelling, not knowing who she really was.
Jaysin wasn’t the typical sixteen year old. She lived the life her aunt begged her not to but had become addicted to the fast money and illicit lifestyle. She thought she was prepared for what the streets had to offer but when she no longer knew who to trust, who to love and who to steer clear from, the smoke and mirrors that was once her calling may have cost her, her life. the real world may not be so real after all.
