Cole's Redemption

Previously published under the title The Hanging Bride, is the story of Natty Lane, a strong willed young woman with an eccentric uncle and a dream of finding precious metal in an abandoned family silver mine. Desperate to find the elusive silver, she barters her most precious possession in exchange for a marriage contract with a convicted outlaw on the steps of the gallows.

Cole Remington is ready to die, trading his life for his one chance for justice against the men who brutally attacked him and destroyed his family. Having accepted his fate, he is but seconds from the hangman's noose when a feisty young woman secures his freedom in exchanged for the bonds of matrimony. Exhausted and grieving the loss of his family, he agrees to help Natty for one year. Despite the terrible hand that life has dealt him thus far, he finally begins to heal the scars of his past and fall in love with his new bride.

Unfortunately, their path to happiness is blocked by terrifying outlaws and the strong will of a Texas Ranger bent on revenge. Natty and Cole must learn to forget their past pain, forgive those that have wronged them and risk everything in the face of an uncertain future if they are ever to receive the happiness they deserve.
