Slavery is Good is a religious justification for slavery written in the midst of the Civil War by Rev. E. W. Warren, a southern minister. Although the Biblical arguments Warren puts forward to justify the enslavement of men, women and children might seem absurd now, the points he made were widely accepted in all the slave states.
