The Elizabeth Towne Collection

Author, editor and publisher Elizabeth Towne was the founder of “The Nautilus Magazine,” a New Thought publication which was in circulation from 1898 through 1953. Her publishing company, “The Elizabeth Towne Company” published several self-help and metaphysical oriented book by many noted early twentieth century occultists such as Wallace D. Wattles and William Walker Atkinson (a.k.a. Yogi Ramacharaka). More than just a publisher, Towne was also an author herself.
