This is a book pointing out the strategies and tactics used by the adversary of religion – to turn believers away from their faith. It is a guide for the believer to build a defense, and reinforce their belief.
The research that provided information into the motivation of the religious critic also gave insight into the stimulus as to why we dispute each other’s beliefs. Reverend Jack offers a defense to the attack from the adversary as well as a bridge to strengthen the bonds of all Christians throughout the world.
We are all Christian soldiers. We must not be distracted by the enemy when it is they who want us to bicker amongst our Christian differences. What better way to break the will of our adversary than for us to be an unbreakable, unified force.
Why do atheists spend so much time trying to disprove and refute something they do not believe in? It cannot be because of foundational values… their motivation is to destroy your personal belief. Throughout all the hype of the non believers criticizing our personal belief, we would be prudent to analyze this motivation and the plan behind those who wish to disprove God our Father, Jesus Christ, and the Bible. It would be prudent to understand who they are.
The plan of the critic is to overpower the word of God by creating the doubt they would like us to internalize. They want to cause confusion amongst the ranks of Christians in order to divide our efforts and see us contend with one another. They want to see us bicker about our choice of denominations, or the accuracy of, and the preference of the Bible version each of us use. They want to discredit any other source of truth each of the many denominations use for worship.
Once the adversary uses any number of these and so many other tactics we may not have even discovered or thought of to open the door to influence – look out! Their means to gain access to you will include combinations of their strategies, and each adds up to the sum of the little “chip” that – after a while wears away at your defense.
So how do you overcome these tough times and trials that come upon us? How do any of us overcome doubt and believe in what we can't see? Answering these questions is the key in maintaining and or regaining our hold on our faith.
God gives us the strength to withstand the trials – if we allow Him to show us how. We all continue to face hard times in the refiner’s fire, and too often focus on what we missed, instead of seeing what is ahead.
