Ariadne's Thread

Ariadne’s Thread is a science fiction/suspense novelette that follows Aias and Leda, two of the inhabitants of the Depths – the bowels of an unfathomably large structure. It is a world consisting of the mountainous inner workings of an astronomical machine and mind-numbing amounts of empty space, in which one must adapt quickly to survive. In this darkly hostile environment, the pair of would-be heroes hazard a journey of discovery about themselves, each other, and the familiar yet alien world around them. 19 pages.
