Bain O’Neil was resigned to giving up his career as a cop because of wounds he sustained in the line of duty. But he was devastated when the doctors told him he would probably never father any children. His dream of having a family of his own was shattered, but he knew somewhere two children lived that were partly his.
Erin Flynn was a widow and mother of two small girls barely hanging onto her dream of owning her own nursery. Bain had come for a glimpse of his children, but he stayed for beautiful self-reliant Erin. Bain hated to keep the truth from Erin for she held his dreams of family in her hand and heart.
