Bonsai is a Japanese word that refers to the Chinese art form of growing miniature trees. In Chinese it is known
as Pen-Jing, which means tray scenery. It is also sometimes known as potted scenery, trade landscape or
potted landscape. Over the years, this art form has been developed to include shaping and pruning the small
trees in such a manner that they will not only have a beautiful appearance, but will also provide the illusion of
being older they really are. Many people prefer to create the landscape within a relatively small area and by
