It is often understood that Israel is to play a key role in the end-times. However, the Scriptures are equally clear that Iraq is going to demand the world’s attention with Israel as the fiery flying serpent known from olden times (Gen 3; Is 27:1; 30:6; Rev 12:3,9) completes the project begun by Nimrod and establishes his whore upon her own base. This story has a beginning – Genesis – and an end – Revelation. Civilization is clearly on a certain course that is headed back to Babel (Gen 11; Zech 5:11). This book has been birthed from one very simple belief, God means what He says and says what He means. When God says the coming Antichrist is the Assyrian, He doesn’t mean American, Russian, British, German or any other ethnicity to be found inside or outside of Europe.
