Bailey is an extremely bright, articulate eight-year-old little girl. But her life is missing one key ingredient…a mother. Her brief lonely childhood has been spent in and out of foster homes. At night she secretly dreams of the loving touch of a mother’s embrace. Unfortunately, her foster moms tend to be distant, cold and generally unaffectionate.

Things suddenly change for Bailey when she meets a beautiful young woman named Madison. The two of them develop an instant bond. To Bailey, Madison is nothing short of a dream come true, providing her with the unconditional love and devotion of a mother.

All goes well until Madison stumbles across a peculiar coincidence and thinks Bailey may actually be her real daughter. The two of them run away together in a desperate attempt to find answers and solve the mystery of their shadowy pasts. But the shocking reality behind the truth may be more than either one of them is prepared to face.
