How do you explain where the words come from-that even you do not know? I say from “MY ANGELS.”
I guess it started in Hawaii when we took our daughter to meet her grandparents.
In the light of night, pen and paper, I wrote what came to mind. Next morning, showing what I had written, my mother asked “how about writing one for me?” Several nights passed and once again the words came. Her advice to me was “do not lose these, save them.” As it turned out, those were my first of many poems.
There was never an indication when the words would come. Then in the years 2010 and 2011 they came almost every night. They were piling up on me. Now what to do next?
Now I am at the front door. Is this where it begins?
Is this the mist of knowing?
