Gardening A La Mode: Fruits (Original Text)

This is the second of two short books on gardening written by Mrs. De Salis - growing fruits. The first book deals with vegetables. She presents not only growing methods, but recipes, as well. Written in 1895, you can be sure you aren't going to need any expensive supplies or equipment.

Mrs. De Salis says in her preface, "These little [about 100 pages] manuals on gardening are simply intended to help amateurs; they do not pretend to go deeply into the science of Vegetable and Fruit cultivation.... These are merely proposed to be handy little books of reference for those persons who do their own gardening in a small way...."
