When Venice, a Scion who by her own admittance is a little green when it comes to the superhero aspect of her life, meets a Demon in a deserted alley, she finds it difficult to control the natural instinct that craves his death. When Emrik, a very attractive Scion shows up to save her, Venice realizes that there is another instinct that is nearly overwhelming: the mating instinct.
