Supplies Management in the OR

One of the major areas of concern to Hospital Management as well as front-line staff is Medical Supplies Management, for the OR as well as the rest of the hospital. High levels of inventory, leading to low inventory turns, have very high costs for hospital systems, as do frequent shortages, excessive handling and resupply effort, and a lack of organization and housekeeping.
