While it is true that we each have a story to tell and traumas in our lives that shape who we are, most stories remain a silent part of history. Other stories are told to the world through books, movies and the news media.

What makes those stories so much more different than mine?

My book is a simple autobiography, but the story behind it is far more complex. It is the story of a girl who suffers at the hands of an intolerable mother and distant father, unsure of why their disdain for her is so great. It is the story of a woman searching her past for answers, only to find at the end a secret so incredulous and yet so undeniable. It is the truth of a child born of the final controversial project that Dr. Josef Mengele completed in an attempt to perpetuate the legacy of Adolf Hitler. The book contains actual names, dates, places, and photographs.

What It’s Not: The story is not a cliché about WWII or Adolf Hitler or even Josef Mengele. It is not an expose about secret experiments in the jungles of Brazil. It is not a fiction novel based on actual facts.

What it is: This is my story. It is the telling of my life, from my earliest memories and the abuses I suffered at the hands of a woman whom I was taught to call mother to the moment when my intuition, suffocated by years of lies and falsified documents, led me to discover the truth about my origins. This book is a retelling of my memories, my feelings, and my journey. The book contains actual names, dates, places, and photographs.
