The White Zone

In this fourth of the New Orleans Mystery novels, Rat Trapp, a NOPD homicide detective, is summoned to Hollywood by his old flame Camille Bynum, only to witness her shocking death by electrocution. Is it a tragic accident or the latest of a series of murders being investigated by the Secret Service assigned to protect former President Reagan? To determine this, Rat has to go back to the days of Hollywood blacklisting to look for motive. As he investigates “the white zone,” a no-parking area at LAX airport, takes on a whole new meaning for a black detective in a very white town.
