Fear of Dying

In this fifth of the New Orleans Mystery novels, reporter Wes Colvin, his finacée assistant D.A. Denise Lemoyne, and his friend N.O.P.D. Captain "Rat" Trapp reappear. When Wes confesses he has a fear of flying, Denise urges him to overcome it with psychiatric help. Under hypnotic regression, Wes recalls a past life as Paul Martin, who died thirty years before when a flight he was on was bombed. As Wes tries to find out who murdered his past life self, he has to contend with powerful Louisiana political figures and the violent racism of the KKK.
