Circles In the Wind

Circles In the Wind is a picture book for young children. It describes the life cycle of a favorite plant in gentle watercolor/ink illustrations and poetic prose.

A baby dandelion seed is pulled away from its mother during a fierce windstorm. Helplessly suspended beneath a fluffy white parachute, he is carried closer and closer to the dark stormcloud overhead.

Then suddenly, the impact of a large raindrop propels the seed back to the ground where it snuggles into the earth.

The wind, rain, earth, sun, and bees all support the magical changes that begin to occur to the little seed.

And just when the story appears to be ending, it begins all over again.
