My Poetic Composition

My Poetic Composition contains various poems of actual events that have transpired during my life in regards to myself, my friends, family, pets, mood, state of mind, emotions, elements, nature, and just common issues and obstacles all of us encounter in our daily lives. In writing these poems, my initial intention was to relieve daily stress through my writing.

One day a coworker noticed a poem on my desk and asked to read it. Upon reading the poem, she began to cry. She said it was one of the most beautiful things she had ever read and asked if I had any others. I pulled out my folder and handed them all to her. She said if I published them, she would buy the first copy. I thought it would be nice to make others happy through my thoughts, opinions, and expressions.

Writing poetry creates avenues and opens endless doorways through the imagination. In my book, I wish to introduce the reader to my world or at least events that have occurred in my life throughout the years. Upon reading my poetry, I hope one takes with them the understanding that we all go through turmoil, suffering, and hardships, but tomorrow is always another day! Thanks for reading!
