To Wander The Labyrinth

‘To Wander the Labyrinth’ opens with Clay, a government interrogator, carrying out a brutal interrogation on a woman accused of trying to obtain secret government documents. For Clay, the violent questioning marks a final descent into madness as the search for the stolen documents turns into a surreal chase that transforms him from interrogator to hunted fugitive.
The story moves in the quick burst of a thriller. But Clay is no hero. He is a fractured, metaphysical black hole born of war and fear. He moves through the world in a drug-clouded haze, his waking moments haunted by the sounds and smells of those he has tortured in the name of keeping the peace.
Maya, the object of his brutality, will, in the end, become his last chance at regaining a small piece of his lost humanity.
