Growing Up Dragon

Short Story. A hungry, young dragon hunts prey in the woods and runs off three humans hunting a woman and her child. Too late to save the woman he rescues the child and waits for his father's return to decide what to do with a human infant. Much to his dismay he discovers the infant is his half sister. After settling the two of them in the aerie,his father takes off after the humans that killed his mate leaving Darrun to defend his sister.
