PERSEPHONE- REVISED in Part One deals with Michael Harrington, a physicist at the Max Planck Institute in Berlin during the late 1920s and 1930s. It concludes with his death in East Hampton. Part Two is the story of David, a novelist and the son of Michael. It is also the story of David's wife, Anne, a dancer with City Ballet in New York.
