Excerpt:

He pulled the jack out from under the car, and stood up.
"Don't worry about it. Just don't drive the car above 50 mph and you
should be fine to get home." He noticed that she had been crying and
walked over to her, her tears illuminated by the headlights of his truck. He
put his arm around her and held her close to him. "It's alright," he
whispered. "You're not dead. You're alive. You met me."

She looked into his eyes; it felt calm and safe there. She
could get lost in those beautiful eyes. His body was warm against hers, and his
grip was firm and comforting. She rested her head against his chest. They stood
there for a couple of minutes before she realized that she wanted him.
She gazed into his eyes once again, holding the stare as the distance between
their faces began to shrink. They began deeply kissing. Apparently that meant
he wanted her too! He pushed her against the car, as the very same kiss
continued. Their tongues were hungrily spiraling in their mouths, their hearts
ablaze. Normally, Ashley would have been in a panic about something like this;
tonight, however, she needed it.
