In the summer of 1987 in rural Georgia a serial killer is terrorizing a quiet community by dumping bodies along the Apalachee River. Chuck Miller was too handsome and intelligent for the stereotypical small town Southern Sheriff. While attempting to save his failing marriage he struggles to find the killer who is stalking his peaceful community. After all his leads fail, Miller is on the verge of giving up when he stumbles on the killers identity and in the process, becomes a victim himself.
