In this second installment of the Grego books, a now happily married and content, Jason goes on another time travel mission accompanied by his wife Joan. This time their adventures will take them to 19th century London where Jack the Ripper is terrorizing the White Chapel neighbourhood by murdering prostitutes. They also learn his identity. After leaving London they travel to the time of Abraham Lincoln to try and stop his assassination by John Wilkes Booth. at the Ford Theatre.... Scott Winfield deftly takes the readers through those adventures through time changing the outcomes and leaving the reader to wonder, 'what if those outcomes could really have bee? What kind of world would be living in today?
