Jaime's Place

Jaime’s Place is a story of love. Love between psychologist Jake Alexander and lawyer Valencia Santos. Love between them and Sarah Lyons, their surrogate grandmother. And the love all three have for the five confused teenagers to whom they commit themselves.

It is a story of struggle as these five teens come to terms with their problems. Struggle as Dr. Jake uses his therapeutic expertise and martial arts to protect them. Struggle as the three adults strive to help the teens succeed and the teens themselves struggle to overcome feelings of loss and disenchantment.

Finally, it is a story of hope. Hope as the teenagers confront their problems and gain insight into a better future for themselves. Hope the three adults experience as they observe the positive changes in these young people. And the hope they all share that does not falter even when the possibility of failure looms.
