Rocking Chair and Afternoon Tales

In putting together this anthology, we’ve contacted the many writing friends we’ve made as well as sending an open invitation to over a hundred writing groups nationwide. Our primary requirement was for each story to be set in Mississippi. This anthology represents the best of the many submissions we had, painstakingly edited and polished to relate compelling stories and poignant verse.
We’re particularly proud of this collection. Most of the poets and story authors are personal friends. With several of the writers we’ve shared meals and book events. Many are award winners. Together Grace and Philip have chosen tales that speak to our hearts. We know they’ll delight you as well.
