The 30-Year Looking Glass is a personal and industry-wide observation of transitions and perceptions within the American healthcare industry through the two looking glasses of the author; personal and professional. It presents how policy is made in America, discusses key health policy initiatives of the 19th and 20th century, defines the population of who the uninsured are and, what actions have been taken to address the massive numbers of them. It also gives a critique of the Healthcare Reform Bill of 2010 signed into law by President Obama and concludes with strategies envisioned to help alleviate the burden of the uninsured on the American healthcare system.
