Jamie didn't really care about the explanation. All he knew was that he liked her. He didn't need to know her name or anything else about her. He saw the way she sat on a horse and knew how well she could ride - that literally told Jamie everything he needed to know about her. He swung his left leg over the horse and dropped to the ground, the sound of his boots hitting the hard dirt startling her into turning around. When she did, he lost his breath, his chest heaving with shock at the sight of her perfect face. It was true that the girls were few and far between on the cattle trail, but she was still the most beautiful woman he'd ever laid eyes on. Her blue eyes captivated him, her high cheekbones and full lips entranced him. He longed to touch her skin, wanted to smell the wind and the sunshine in her hair.
