"The Mean Reds" follows Lucy DiMarco on a wild, disastrous and, in many cases, hilarious road to recognizing what she needs to be truly happy. Between a childhood crush hell-bent on stringing her along indefinitely, her best friend's stalker, and that big pair of brown eyes she can't seem to get out of her head, Lucy's just about had it with life. For good.

After waking up for what feels like the millionth time, dabbing herself with a magazine sample of perfume from her cardboard file drawer and heading out to yet another party with the man who still goes home with another girl, Lucy decides it's time to find some new people to share her time with. But how can she be herself when even she doesn't know who that is anymore?

"The Mean Reds" reflects a character with shades of a modern-day Holly Golightly meets Carrie Bradshaw trying to push through life, love, and the difficulty of being a woman in her twenties with a little humor, but not so much grace.
