Bit by bit Adrian's getting used to DJ's advances. Every study session ends with an intimate oral exam, but it's getting apparent that DJ wants so much more. Can Adrian get past his reservations and be DJ's first true love?

DJ always manages to surprise me.
Every day I tutor him I spend the last half-hour on drilling. No, not with that. Review questions, I mean. Stuff that I assume his teachers will test us on. Today though, he wanted me to go through the review first.
I was skeptical of course. Still, I gave him a few sample questions and was surprised that he actually knew the answers. We cover two topics a day, and today we're dealing with Chemistry and U.S. Government. He knew how to fill out a hybrid orbital chart, how to distinguish an acid from a base, and he could list most of the Amendments in the Bill of Rights.
Of course, DJ had an ulterior motive for working so hard.
Mrs. Faustin was really pleased with her son's recent grades. Like a good mother she'd been watching his test scores like a hawk, and the sudden jump to A's and B's delighted her. “He's actually applying himself!” she told me, practically in tears, “I wish you two had become friends his first year!”
With that, she expanded our study sessions from three times a week to four. Today is our first Friday session. Since it's the first official part of the weekend, DJ is particularly frisky.
