The Second Side of Chaos

THE SECOND SIDE OF CHAOS is an epic fantasy about the elemental Powers of Eln and the young mages who wield them. Raithlyn, on the surface a gentle earthmother, becomes the center of a shattered civilization as she is precipitously Chosen First Mother in the catastrophic collapse of the Scepterstone. In her effort to restore balance and save her world, she also contends with a desperate inner struggle to hide a treacherous secret. As Eln is plunged into war, she is torn between her love for Kherric, a charismatic and chaotic firemage and her obsession with Henry, a hero king from another world and time. These conflicts—physical, romantic and spiritual--threaten to destroy her and all of Eln.
