Andrea Noble leaves Detroit and her big city blues behind when she goes home to Bayou Blue, Louisiana. She takes over a small clinic and soon finds trouble. She hires knew staff to help get the place on the right track, including a handsome man she finds a little too distracting. Jamal's real name is Lee Matthews, and he's no ordinary employee. The private detective is being paid by the board of directors, so he goes undercover to find sniff out wrongdoing. Andrea and Lee try to ignore the heat, but resistance is futile.
