Completing the Trans-Caucasus Countries – Adventures and Learning in Armenia and Georgia

This book is the second in an unintended collection of essays, commentaries, and observations by the author during a projects consulting with banks in post-Soviet republics. While the first eBook described a 13-month project in Azerbaijan, this book deals with three short-term training projects: two in Armenia and one in the neighboring Republic of Georgia. These Caucasus projects were the author's first business ventures outside of the U.S. As with most Americans, he was substantially unprepared for the cultural differences and norms, and absolutely astounded by the history and peoples he encountered. It would be hard to imagine a richer experience, especially observing the author's changing attitudes and understanding as interaction with local residents increases.
