Mostellaria by Plautus

In MOSTELLARIA ('haunted house'), a young man whose father is away borrows money to buy his girlfriend out of slavery and throws a lavish house party. When the father returns unexpectedly, the young man tries to hide the truth by claiming the house is haunted, with hilarious results.
