Surfer's Hurricane

Exiled to the Midwest by Hurricane Ike, a twenty-something beach bum winds up at the abandoned home of his estranged family, only to find the journey has just begun. When the phone rings for someone who doesn’t exist, a mistaken identity results in the theft of a mysterious heart. Amidst an endless string of ne’er well-doers fueled by ridicule and self-destruction, his own personal hurricane comes thundering down. This “surfer” struggles to not only keep his head above water, but to wade through the absurdity of life and discover something – anything – that just might be truly beautiful.
